Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
We offer a BBA degree program in two cities that enroll international students: Vancouver, British Columbia and Toronto, Ontario. BBA degrees have specializations in: Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, and Energy Management. Vancouver campus offers all four specializations, while Toronto offers solely the Project Management Specialization. International students may elect to take some courses online (one per term). International students can complete their degree in as little as 2.5 years, take one term off annually, transfer diploma/degree credits, and apply for a PGWP (Post-Graduate Work Permit) upon completion. Course curriculums provide practical knowledge to prepare students for work in management and business settings. Class sizes are small: no more than 18 students to a class. Professional faculty, and advanced educational delivery methods, deliver mentorship and support.

3. Mature Students:
A mature student is an applicant who has not achieved the British Columbia Certificate of Graduation (or equivalent) and who is at least 19 years of age on or before the commencement of the program in which he/she intends to enroll.
Our admissions policy for mature students creates pathways for applicants who can demonstrate abilities equivalent to those of Ontario high school graduates through the successful completion of courses at the post-secondary level or through proficiency assessments.
Plan B: ESL (ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE)
Courses:
1. GENERAL ENGLISH (GE): The GE program develops key skills in five areas:
Our custom curriculum is based on a number of ESL standards such as the Canadian Language Benchmarks, TOEFL, and IELTS. Upon reaching the Advanced level, students usually achieve a TOEFL score of 70-75 and IELTS score of 6.0, although students have also achieved TOEFL scores as high as 90.
The GE program is 25 hours per week. Most students will spend 8-10 weeks per level, however, students are able to progress through the levels at their own pace through weekly start dates, weekly move ups, weekly graduation and flexible schedule options.
2. UNIVERSITY PATHWAY PROGRAM: Our University Pathway Program (UPP) ensures students are well prepared for university life. This program focuses on time management, note taking, exam preparation, academic presentations, and essay writing. Students can complete the UPP in any of our three cities (TORONTO, OTTAWA, HALIFAX, VANCOUVER) can continue onto one of our partner universities or colleges without writing an English language proficiency exam. Students study 25 hours per week.
3. IELTS/TOEFL: Our part-time IELTS exam preparation course is designed to give students the skills, techniques, and knowledge needed to exceed their exam goals. Our teachers focus in-depth on the modules of the IELTS exam to make sure students know what to expect when taking an IELTS exam. Students need to be in a minimum of Level 4 General English to enroll in the IELTS class.
4. ELECTIVE ENGLISH (Plus One): Plus One is a class that occurs from 1:00 – 2:00, Monday to Thursday. It is a our provider's trademarked program which allows students to choose from a variety of topics that cater to their interests or academic weakness. Plus One topics change every two weeks, so students get the chance to study multiple topics during their study period.
5. BUSINESS ENGLISH: Our Business English course uses business case studies that are directly related to the real business world. Each business case study covers a specialized area of business practice. Participants will:

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program from UCW is a globally-recognized MBA degree accredited by ACBSP.
It will prepare students to take the most challenging situations in stride, to apply pragmatic solutions to problems and ultimately drive the success of an organization with informed decision-making. Students will be ready for leadership on the global stage.
Our MBA program:
MBA Foundation: We understand that some students do not have the professional or academic qualifications but wish to pursue the MBA program. Applicants to the MBA program who do not meet the requirements for direct admission may qualify through completion of the MBA Foundation courses. To be admitted to the MBA Foundation courses you must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a cumulative GPA of 2.33 or better.
Bachelor of Commerce
The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) will provide students with a broad foundation knowledge of contemporary business and its practices. Based in Vancouver, Canada, this ACBSP-accredited degree prepares students for a successful career in business or management, where they will contribute constructively to a global economy.

Bachelor of Arts
The Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication (BA) is an interdisciplinary program that will develop student's knowledge of media, cultural studies and business alongside theoretical and practical skills. The communication methods learnt and media training students get throughout this course are relevant to careers in professional writing, journalism, public relations, communications and advertising.

Associate of Arts
The Associate of Arts (AA) degree provides students with a broad foundation of knowledge and prepares for additional post-secondary education or to enter the workforce. The AA degree is accepted for transfer onto bachelor degree programs at University Canada West (UCW) and all British Columbia degree-granting institutions -provided other admissions requirements are met.
