TradeHUB Canada Inc. (“TradeHUB”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website https://tradehub.ca and provides online services through our platforms, including Genubook (bookkeeping, payroll, and service delivery tools) and related client portals (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information.

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected through:

  • TradeHUB website pages (including contact and appointment forms),

  • Genubook and client portals,

  • Service delivery modules (e.g., bookkeeping, invoices, secure file sharing),

  • Integrations used within our Services (e.g., bank transaction import via Plaid).

A. Identity & Contact Information

  • Account identifiers and role-based access details (admin/staff/client)

B. Service & Financial Operations Information

  • Transaction metadata imported with your consent (e.g., date, amount, merchant/description)

3) How We Use Information

4) Bank Transaction Import and Plaid

If you choose to connect your financial accounts for transaction import:

  • We will present a consent-based flow before bank connection is initiated.

  • We may use a third-party provider (e.g., Plaid) to facilitate secure account connection and import transaction data with your authorization.

  • We do not store online banking credentials.

  • Access to bank-imported data is restricted by role-based controls and may require additional verification (step-up MFA) before sensitive actions.

(Plaid Link itself includes security controls and may prompt bank-level MFA depending on the institution.)

5) Legal Basis and Consent

We collect, use, and disclose personal information with your consent (express or implied) as required by applicable laws, including Canadian privacy requirements. You may withdraw consent, subject to legal and contractual restrictions.

6) Sharing and Disclosure

We may share personal information only as necessary with:
