E2 Investors Visa is one of the USA visas available to citizens or nationals of 30+ countries that have trade treaties with United Status. You can apply to invest sufficient funds in business, practice, office. The amount of time to get E2 visa depends on the consulate you are applying to and can take from 2 weeks to 5 months. After initial review, consulate will set up interview with applicant. Qualified investors and employees can stay up to 2 years. Request for extension of stay, or change of status, E2 classification may be granted in increment of up to 2 years each. All E2 non-immigrant must leave USA when their status expires.
