Charitable Business Registration

Charitable Business means organization that asks for contributions to be used for charity purpose. 

For registering, you need to provide following documents:

• information on your business
• a criminal record check or police information check 
• a copy of your solicitation materials
• payment of a registration fee

Who has to register:

• it uses a fundraising business
• intends to raise more than $25,000 
• if finds that funds has raised more tan $25,000 during or after campaign, need to register within 45 days after contribution reach $25,000
